General templates are created by the company administrator. They are available to all operators, but cannot be edited or deleted.
Once a template is selected, its text can be changed in the input field. To learn more about customizing generic message templates, see the article Managing message templates.
Personal templates are created by the operator in the quick reply panel. These templates are only available to the person who created them. The operator can edit and delete them at any time.
- Log in to operator panel. If you do not have access, ask your administrator for a login and password.
- Open the dialog box under Chats.
- Click
.
- Enter the text of the message.
- Click
. The text will be saved as a template and appear in the list of quick replies.
- Start typing the message whose template you plan to edit.
- Click
in the message template window that opens.
- Change the text of the message.
- Save your changes by clicking the
button.
If you no longer need the message template for your work, delete it:
- Start typing the message whose template you plan to delete.
- Click
in the message template window that opens.
- Click
. The message template will be deleted.
