¶ Preparatory Steps
- Log in to the platform's personal account.
- Create a bot script.
- Create a text bot to be integrated.
- Register on Facebook*. If you already have an account, log in to your personal account.
- Create a business account on Facebook*.
- Create a Facebook* Page for your company if you don't have one yet.
- Register on Instagram.
- Switch to a business account on Instagram.
- Link your Instagram and Facebook accounts.
¶ Integration Setup

Go to the Text Bots section of the personal account.

Proceed to the integration setup in one of the following ways:
- Directly: hover over the desired chat row and click on
→ Integration. - From chat editing: hover over the chat row and click on
. Go to the Integration tab.

Go to the Instagram tab.

Activate the Use this integration toggle switch.

Click Log in With Facebook. A Facebook authorization browser window will open.

Log in or select an account to connect.

Click Continue in the bottom right corner.

Select the businesses you want to access and click Continue.

Select the pages you want to access and click Continue.

Select the Instagram account you want to access and click Continue.

Click Save to grant tChat access to manage your pages, profile, and messages on Instagram and Messenger.

Click Got it to connect to Chat.

Select a page to connect: choose the page you created in step six of the preparatory steps from the dropdown list.

Click Connect.
- Go to the Integrations section of your personal cabinet.
- Click the Instagram tab.
- Click Add integration or
in the upper left corner. This will open the integration settings dialog box. - Select a text bot from the drop-down list in the Chat name field in the window that opens.
- Click Log in With Facebook. A Facebook authorization browser window will open.
- Log in or select an account to connect.
- Click Continue in the lower right corner.
- Select the businesses you want to access and click Continue.
- Select the pages you want to access and click Continue.
- Select the Instagram account you want to access and click Continue.
- Click Save to grant tChat access to manage your pages, profile, and messages on Instagram and Messenger.
- Click Got it to connect to Chat.
- Select a page to connect: choose the page you created in step six of the preparatory steps from the dropdown list.
- Click Save.

After completing the integration, a client who sends a message on Instagram will start a conversation with the integrated bot.
The bot does not initiate the conversation; it only engages after receiving the first message from the client.
