The bot processor is used to process call results. Once a call ends, the bot processor launches automatically, regardless of the call’s status.
- Guaranteed script execution – the bot processor always runs, even if the call fails. This allows you to track errors and save information, even if the customer was unable to get through.
- Recording information in case of a hang-up – if, during a conversation with a standard bot, the customer hangs up before the necessary variables are recorded in the script, the information may be lost. The bot processor runs after the call ends, even if the call was hung up.
- Reducing Pauses During the Call – If call results need to be sent via API, processing requests during the call can cause noticeable delays. Requests can be moved to the bot processor, ensuring they are executed after the call without causing delays.
- Extended timeout for server requests – The timeout for server requests when the bot processor is running is 30 seconds.
- Go to the Bots section in your account dashboard.
- Click the New bot button or
in the upper-left corner.
- Enter a name for the script.
- Select the Processor Bot script type.
- Click Save to add the script to the list.
¶ Connecting a processor bot to a standard script
- Go to the Bots section in your account dashboard.
- Open the desired standard script in the editor.
- In the Settings block (the starting block), under Handling call completion, select the desired bot processor script.
- Save the script.
If a transition between scripts occurs during the conversation, the bot processor specified in the settings of the first script will be used.
- Go to the Bots section in your personal account.
- Open the desired standard script in the editor.
- In the Settings block (the starting block), under Handling call completion, click the delete button in the script selection row.

When editing a processor bot script, you use the script editor tools, but there is one restriction compared to regular scripts:
Unavailable blocks: Question and Pause – the processor bot runs after the call ends and cannot directly receive information from the caller or voice any responses. Phrases from Information blocks will be included in the call transcript.
While the processor bot is running, script system variables and all user variables created during the main script’s execution are available.
Additional system variables containing extended call information are also available:
