Templates allow you to prepare the text of a message in advance with variables that can be easily changed when creating a mailing. This is useful when the structure of the message remains unchanged, but only certain data — for example, the client's name or contract number - is changed.
Go to the Notifications section of personal account.
Click the Message Templates → Main tab.
Click Create Template or
in the upper right corner. The Create Template window will open.
In the Name field, enter the name of the new template. Choose simple and clear names. In the future it will make it easier for you to find the required template in the list.
In the row of the desired communication channel, click on
. A window with channel settings will open on the right.
Configure the desired communication channel:
Sender: Enter the registered sender name. This name will be displayed as the sender name of sms messages.
Send Time to Live (min.): Specify the period of time in minutes during which the system will send the message to customers. If the message is not sent within the specified period, for example, due to a technical error on the part of the operator, the message will receive the Not delivered status.
Message Text: enter the text of the message to be sent.
Sender: specify the notification header.
Submit Time to Live (Min.): specify the period of time in minutes during which the system will send the message to the clients. If the message is not sent within the specified period, for example, due to a technical error on the part of the operator, the message will receive the Not delivered status.
Message Text: enter the text of the message to be sent.
Sender: specify the name of the sender.
Send Time to Live (Min): specify the period of time in minutes during which the system will send the message to clients. If the message is not sent within the specified period, for example, due to a technical error on the part of the operator, the message will receive the status Not delivered.
Image URL: specify the email address of the image that will be displayed in your message.
Button URL: specify the email address to which the user will be redirected after clicking on the button that will be displayed in your message.
Button text: enter the text that will be displayed on the button in your message.
Message text: enter the text of the message to be sent.
Sender: enter the phone number that is linked to the TWIN platform. If WhatsApp integration is configured, the phone number is added by itself. Otherwise, contact technical support to connect WhatsApp Business.
Template namespace: specify the registered namespace of the template to work with WhatsApp Business API.
Language: specify the template language used to work with WhatsApp Business API.
Template name: specify the registered template name that the system will use to work with WhatsApp Business API.
Media URL: specify the email address of the image that will be attached to your message.
Variables: specify the variables you want to use. Add variables one at a time in the field that opens when you click Add. To delete a variable, click
.
Mailing Type: select the desired action from the drop-down list: Start New Dialog or Continue Dialog.
Chat: select the desired chat from the drop-down list.
Bot: from the drop-down list, select the script you will use in the chat to dialogue with the customer.
Messenger: from the drop-down list, select the messenger in which the chat is created.
Dialog Name: enter the name of the dialogue.
Message text: enter the text of the message to be sent.
For all communication channels, to add customizable variables, specify them in the Message text field (for WhatsApp - in the Variables field) in curly brackets, for example: {contract_number}. The values of these variables are set in the Variables field when сreate a mailing list. If the values of the variables are not specified, they will be displayed in the message as text without curly brackets, for example contract_number.
You can set up more than one communication channel at the same time.
Click the Schedule tab and select the desired sending period. Once the distribution is started, the system will send messages according to the specified time interval.
(Optional) Set an additional time interval for sending the message by clicking on
.
Do not allow time intervals to overlap.
If the message distribution is started after the first specified time interval has ended, the system will send the message during the second specified time interval.
To use a template, specify its ID in the Template id field when сreate a mailing list.
