360dialog Platform opens access to the WhatsApp Business API, providing the opportunity to integrate WhatsApp with a text bot for connecting chats and broadcasts.
- Register in TWIN. If you already have an account, log in to your personal account.
- Top up your balance. The account balance must be positive.
- Register on Facebook. If you already have an account, log in to your personal account.
- Create a business account in Meta Business Manager. Read about business account registration in the official documentation.
When creating a business account, use a phone number that is not registered on WhatsApp.
- Go to the Integrations → Whatsapp section of your personal account.
- Click
in the top left corner.
- Select to connect a WhatsApp Business API number. The 360dialog registration and authorization window opens.
- Log in to your account through Facebook with the account linked to the business account.
- Check the box confirming that you are a human, not a bot.
- Click Confirm.
- Specify that you have a personal account on Facebook.
- Confirm that the phone number you want to connect is not currently registered on WhatsApp.
- Check the box to confirm the phone number.
- Check the box if you have a business account that is not confirmed at the time of registration.
- Click Continue to Facebook. The login window through Facebook* will open.
- Click Continue.
- Click Start.
- Provide information about your company:
- Meta Business Account: select your business account from the dropdown list.
- Company Name: enter the name that will be displayed to your audience.
- Website or Social Media Company Page: provide a link to the official website or social media page.
- Country: select your country from the dropdown list.
- (Optional) Click + Add Address to display the address in your profile and start the 360dialog account verification process. This will increase the chances of quick registration.
- Fill in the fields:
- Exact Address: enter the address specified in the company's details.
- Leave the remaining fields unchanged.
- Click Next. The WhatsApp account creation screen will open.
- (Optional) Select WhatsApp Business Account: choose an existing account from the dropdown list. If you don't have one, leave it unchanged.
- (Optional) Create or Select WhatsApp Business Profile: choose an existing profile from the dropdown list. If you don't have a profile, leave it unchanged.
- Click Next. The WhatsApp Business profile creation screen will open.
- Enter the username that will be displayed in 360dialog, Facebook, and the messenger.
- Enter the username that will be displayed in WhatsApp Business.
- Specify your time zone.
- Category: choose a category suitable for your company from the dropdown list.
- Description: write a brief company description visible to all WhatsApp users.
- Website: provide a link to your website that WhatsApp users will see.
- Click Next. The phone number addition screen in WhatsApp will open.
- Specify the country code and enter the phone number registered on WhatsApp Business.
The phone number must not be registered in an existing WhatsApp account.
- Choose the phone number confirmation method.
- Click Next. The phone number confirmation window will open.
- Enter the confirmation code.
- Click Next.
- Click Finish. Wait for the connection to complete.
- Choose the phone number to grant access to the WhatsApp Business API.
- Click Save.
- Return to your personal account in the Companies → Integrations section. Here you will see the number that was added earlier.
- Go to the Text Bots section of your personal account.
- Click on the menu of the relevant bot.
- Click Integration. The integration setup window will open.
- Choose WhatsApp.
- WhatsApp Integration Parameters: select the previously registered number from the dropdown list.
- Click Connect.
- Send a message to the registered number on WhatsApp and ensure the integration is working correctly.
Integration should only be disabled in the TWIN personal account interface. Disabling integration in the 360Dialog may cause errors.
- Go to the Integrations → Whatsapp section of your personal account.
- Hover over the integration line in the list.
- Click the
button.
- Confirm the deletion of the integration by clicking the Delete button.
The disconnection takes place within 30 days. If you disable the integration on the 20th of the current month, it will be disabled on the 20th of the following month. Please note that you will also need to pay for the following month.
