The function allows you to send advertising messages to those customers who have previously interacted with the bot in Telegram. To do this, unique dialog identifiers are used to ensure that only those users who have already interacted with the bot are sent the messages.
To make a mailing, follow the steps below.
Mailings by user nicknames are not available.
If a bot is launched multiple times, it will have multiple sessions. Without filtering, each bot launch will be considered a separate launch, so the user will receive as many newsletter messages as they have sessions.
Create a distribution using the Advertising Messages template. For more information on creating a distribution, see the article Manage notification mailings.
When filling in the template file, specify the parameters:
| Name | Requirements | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Chat session id | Yes | ID of the dialog to which the advertising message will be sent. Getting dialog IDs is described in step 1. |
| Use short links | Not | Designed to convert any URL that is contained in the body of a message into a short link of the form https://2wn.me/wfi8. Possible values: true — links will be shortened to the form above. false — links will be displayed in their original form. |
| Continue last or start new session | Not | For advertising mailings this parameter is not used, leave the field empty. If the field is filled with any value, the mailing will not work. |
| Text | Yes | The text of the promotional message that will be sent to the customer. |
| Channel | Yes | Channel for sending the message. Since the promotional message will be sent to chat, specify the value chat. |
Specify information about each customer to whom you want to send a promotional message on a separate line of the file.
